Sam Awara is the CEO and Co-Founder of Awenza Health. He has nearly a decade of experience in MedTech and healthcare, with leadership roles across product, software, and data. Sam has scaled healthcare startups from pre-seed through Series B and works closely with clinical and industry partners to bring data-driven technologies into clinical practice.

Ahmed Zahra
CTO & Co-Founder
Ahmed Zahra leads the technical and engineering team at Awenza health. He has over seven years of MedTech experience and previously served as a senior staff engineer at Johnson & Johnson MedTech. Ahmed was part of the Auris Health team acquired by J&J and has expertise in building scalable systems for regulated medical environments.

COO, Founding Team
David Chen is a founding team member and Chief Operating Officer at Awenza Health. He has held roles at Goldman Sachs and Amazon, including technical product management. David holds an MBA from the Wharton School and oversees operations, execution, and internal systems as the company scales. -

Farah El-Hamri
CCO, Founding Team
Farah El-Hamri is a founding team member and Chief Commercial Officer at Awenza Health. She has experience advising healthcare and technology companies on business development and commercialization across North America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. She leads commercial strategy and partnerships. -

Dr. Rowan Metwaly
Chief Clinical Advisor
Dr. Rowan Metwaly is a New York–trained foot and ankle surgeon who completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident and became board qualified in foot and ankle surgery. She has extensive experience evaluating and treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions across all age groups and is now based in the Greater Philadelphia region, where she is affiliated with Jefferson Hospital. -

Maged Elnenaei
Company Advisor
Maged Elnenaei is a senior advisor to Awenza Health with over 35 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare, FMCG, and agriculture. He has held senior roles throughout his career, having previously been the Managing Director at Johnson & Johnson (MENA), VP of Ecolab (MEA), and served as CEO of Feed in Saudi Arabia. He advises on strategy, operations, and regional expansion.
